Joe Lacey produces art for clients including Mattel, Fisher-Price, Crayola and PEZ. His work has appeared on packaging, books, magazines and ad campaigns in America and Europe. His art is showcased in "The Artist's & Graphic Designer's Market" and "The Children's Writers & Illustrators Market." His sci/fi art is included in Spectrum books as examples of "The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art." He's won awards from The Society of Illustrators and The Art Directors Club of Philadelphia.

Joe spent his childhood in a quaint hamlet in northern Pennsylvania, tucked away in a scenic valley along the Susquehanna River. The youngest of seven children, Joe's youth was occupied with watching televison, playing with toys and trying not to grow up.

He holds an MFA in Illustration from Syracuse University of New York and a BFA in Commercial Art from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife Darlene and their dog King.
